Civil society engagement

Bringing Afghans at home and abroad and friends of Afghanistan together as members, volunteers and partners.

Peace & national unity

Promoting a shared understanding that respects Afghanistan's diversity – through discussion papers and open exchange.

Community dialogue & advocacy

Creating spaces for respectful, fact-based dialogue and speaking up for education and human rights.

Movement program

MovementWings – Wings for Street Kids in Afghanistan

Why: Every child deserves a chance at education and a better life – especially children who have to help feed their families and work on the streets.

What: Local volunteers support children with reading and writing, teaching and self-esteem. Every child should receive a hot meal every day, even under difficult living conditions.

Expected impact: Hope for a better future and stronger self-esteem for the children – which also strengthens the local community.

Afghanistan Open University (AOU)

The Afghan Peace and Unity Movement e.V. is partnering with Afghanistan Open University (AOU), a fellow nonprofit organization providing Afghan students with access to higher education through a flexible, fully digital learning environment, regardless of their location.

Through this partnership, we aim to expand educational opportunities and create new perspectives. We believe that education is the key to a better future.
